The Liberty Sidemount rebreather is everything that has come to be know in the Liberty rebreather, now in a compact side-mount configuration. The Liberty rebreather is designed to function no matter what is thrown at it. For complex trimix dives there are two helium analyzers built into the unit, a feature not seen on many other units. The PPO2 measurements are done by 4 oxygen cells providing the diver with redundant sources and methods of PPO2 calculation. All of the sensory inputs are handled by 2 computers. The outputs are done by 2 solenoids with dive critical information displayed on 4 separate devices to the diver and his/her buddy: 2 computers, a HUD, and a buddy light mounted on the head.
