Deep 6 believes that, especially when designing life-support equipment, there shouldn’t be graduated levels of “quality” or “performance.” Simply put, Deep 6 offers the highest quality and best performing regulator possible. The Deep 6 Signature Series 1st Stages are milled from a block of marine-grade brass, then they’re chromed and PVD-coated. Inside you’ll find all the o-rings are either teflon or viton. Sure, it’s more expensive for us to make it this way but we’re committed to doing it right.
